Tara Volz, Kiera's mother, brushed Kiera's hair, before heading to a Southridge boys basketball game in Huntingburg on Jan. 31. Dale allowed Tara to live with them as she looked for more permanent housing. Tara very much wants to be a part of Kiera's life.
