Tyler Durcholz, 12, of Haysville, and Bruce Hawkins of Shoals with his dog, Babe, watched a quail go down during the Quail Unlimited sponsored youth quail hunt on Saturday February 5, 2011. Director Randy Stemle said the reason for holding the annual event is to promote activities and wildlife for the next generation. About 30 boys came out ranging in ages from 8-16.
